This place has the best street tacos I have ever tasted! The flavor explodes in your mouth! The charro beans are very good as well. Wife had the birria tacos and loved them as well! Every employee is kind and attentive to the customers. We will definitely be back to bring friends and family. Thanks Bocanegras for a amazing dinner!
Stopped in for early lunch while in town for work. The sandia agua fresca was delicious! I ordered the birria tacos. They didn’t disappoint! They were huge compared to what I’m used to in Houston. They were packed with meat and cheese. Waitress was very friendly and attentive. I’d definitely come back next time I am in town.

Of course I can make it but I work in the area so it’s easier and I’m supporting a business. It wasn’t on the menu so I gave them what I wanted added/removed. And they did it without issue. THEY DID SO WELL. This burrito is so good sober/tipsy/drunk etc….. They have this in San Diego and no other city was able to get it right until Bocanegras. __________________ Here it is: TheMAHB Hot Cheeto Burrito Request Flour tortilla, asada, cheese, beans, nacho cheese,- NO RICE, NO ONION, NO CILANTRO, ADD a little SOUR CREAM, ADD SMASHED AVOCADO or GUACAMOLE , ADD HOT CHEETOS Dip with salsa Verde of course you can have rice, onion, cilantro, or whatever, but this was just my preference ______________________ TLDR: LOVED IT! ask for burrito how I typed it above.
Nice surprise find and so good, will be going back. I was worried about the hot Cheetos but they add just the right taste and bring on the wow factor! Staff was super nice and not intrusive. Go check it out!
Everything we had was tasty and super good! Loved the birria ramen and hot Cheeto asada tacos. Hubby loved the nachos and lemonada. Tables were clean and service was excellent! Would definitely recommend to friends and family!
The food is different and it stands out! First time eating here—a coworker highly recommended this place. I'm new to the area so I don't know any good food spots. The food was very good,.. I ordered the barrio tacos and churro cheesecake. It was delicious and the cheesecake was on point.. if you haven't been here you should go. It will satisfy your hunger. Prices were decent for all the food you get.. I forgot to take pictures but it's definitely worth going.. the manager was super nice and handsome..
I came for the birria and I was not disappointed. I saw the pictures on the wall and asked-this guy worked really hard and made his way out of a food truck. That told me all I needed to know- this is the hole in the wall authentic good home cooking. The service was quick and kind, the place is clean and cute. I’ll come back next time I’m in town.
